CONSUMER

In Karnataka Consumer Co-operatives are working in 3 stages viz.,The role of the co-operatives in service sector is quite significant, although there is stiff competition from the private sector the co-operatives in the service sector are rendering significant and remarkable services to the people.

  1. The Karnataka State Co-operative Consumers Federation Ltd., Bangalore at State level.
  2. The District Central Co-operative Wholesale Stores at District level
  3. The Primary Consumer Co-operative Societies at Primary level.

 

1. THE KARNATAKA STATE COOPERATIVE  CONSUMER'S FEDERATION,  BANGALORE.,

It is a State level Co-operative Institution registered in the year 1964 and has 27 members. The Federation is running 4 Janatha Bazaars at Bangalore. 6 branches in other Districts, 9 KSCCF branches in other Districts and 11 Medical shops.

 

2. DISTRICT CENTRAL COOPERATIVE WHOLESALE STORES

There are 26 District Central Co-operative Wholesale Stores in the State.

 

3. PRIMARY CONSUMER COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES

There are 1262 Primary Consumers Co-operative Societies in the State
